Professional Executive Assessment

For Selection and/or Development of Leaders

What Does a Leadership Assessment Entail?

Professional assessment is a process for identifying individuals’ and teams’ knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal attributes that are important for leadership, organizational and personal effectiveness.

A professional assessment is designed to help:

Organizations

  • Improve effectiveness of decision-making
  • Avoid costly mistakes in hiring, placement, promotion, development, and retention of individuals.

Individuals

  • Enhance performance
  • Increase leadership and personal effectiveness
  • Support career progress
  • Achieve self-actualization
  • Understand at a deeper level, for example:
    • Stand-out strengths
    • Impact on others
    • How to be more effective
    • How to seize control of and most effectively steward their career
    • How to make a real difference – to “matter”.

Management Teams

  • Elevate effectiveness, cohesiveness, and results as a team by understanding Self and each other at a much deeper level:
    • Motivational drivers
    • Signature strengths
    • Relative limitations (so each can ‘have each other’s backs’)
    • Needs, values, personal attributes
    • Style tendencies
  • Build understanding to help the team members significantly improve communication, collaboration, utilization of talents, mutual support, and overall performance.

Tools Typically Used in an Executive Assessment

Interview

In-depth, background, and forward-looking.

360° Key Stakeholder Feedback Interviews

Information collected and details of the feedback are confidential and used for development purposes only. Key themes are reported to the individual, taking care to protect the anonymity of feedback providers’ responses in order to ensure a safe environment for providing candid observations and perceptions.
